Identify the weak points of a human body

Everyone has their own pressure points on the body that are used for healing and self defense. In traditional medicine, these pressure points are used to cure certain diseases and illnesses in the body. In martial arts, on the other hand, these are used to gain an advantage over enemies in order to survive. More often than not, they target these pressure points during their match to end the fight and win. If you want to survive and conquer your enemies, it is imperative that you have knowledge about these specific pressure points because you can use them to immobilize your enemies.

In self-defense, you must have an opportunity to defeat or incapacitate your opponent in order to escape and call for immediate help from law enforcement authorities or anyone in the immediate vicinity. In addition to bringing portable self-defense tools and using makeshift weapons, you can hit your opponent at these pressure points to defend yourself and immobilize them. The best way to achieve this is by targeting your pressure points and using them to your advantage. Attacking them is brutal and can lead to injury, trauma and death.

The critical pressure points of the human body include:

o Head – The skull or top of the head is the weakest area of the head that can lead to trauma and injury to the cranial cavity. It can also result in bleeding and unconsciousness.

o Temple – This is the part of our skull where the large artery and nerves are located. When this part is attacked, it can lead to a concussion.

o Eyes: It is an important part of the human body and a slight poke to the eyes can cause blurred vision and uncontrollable tearing. When extensive force is imposed or foreign objects are placed in the eyes, it can lead to permanent blindness and death.

o Nose: A hard blow to the nose can cause the thin bones to fracture, causing uncontrollable watering of the eyes and extreme pain.

o Jaw – When you attack your attacker’s jaw, it can cause jaw dislocation, fracture, and paralysis because that is where the facial nerve is located and extreme pressure can lead to facial paralysis.

o Chin: Similar to the jaw, a severe blow to the chin can lead to unconsciousness, paralysis, and mild concussion. The maxilla is a sensitive part of the body because it serves as a lever that transmits force to the brain and is also where the respiratory and cardiac mechanisms of our body are located.

o Throat: A strong blow to the throat of your attacker can cause instant death due to damage to the windpipe.

o Back of the ears and base of the skull: These are vital parts of the head because a moderate to heavy blow to these areas can cause unconsciousness, concussion, hemorrhage and death.

o Side of the neck: A strong blow to this part can cause unconsciousness due to damage to the vagus nerve, carotid artery and jugular vein.

These are the critical pressure points on a person’s body that can be used for self defense when the need arises.
